A Chinese cargo plane carrying 50 tons of relief goods landed at Medan airport, North Sumatra, on Saturday.
The relief goods, mainly medicines, generators and tents, worth some 7.5 million RMB yuan (or US$0.9 million). They will be transported to Banda Aceh, the capital city of Aceh province, by truck.
The Boeing 747, owned by Southern Airlines of China, will fly to Colombo to deliver 30 tons of relief goods for Sri Lanka.
