The first rescue team sent by the Chinese government to aid tsunami-hit Thailand has returned.
The 27-member team set off for the Thai island of Phuket ten days ago, and victims in the region have praised its efforts.
The Chinese humanitarian staff was working with local medical personnel to educate locals in the essentials of epidemic prevention.
They also established a number of medical points to provide treatment and consultation to victims.
