Germany will provide China with some 100 X-ray machines and 200 artificial respirators in aid for China to contain the outbreak of SARS.
The equipments will be part of a package worth 10 million euros, or US$11 million.
The first 10 X-ray machines and 25 artificial respirators are due to be delivered in the coming days in the operation, mounted at the request of Beijing's acting mayor Wang Qishan.
The project is being carried out with the cooperation of German industrial conglomerate Siemens and the airline Lufthansa.
