China's Ministry of Commerce announced here Wednesday that it will allow the five-year-old anti-dumping measures against steel from Russia to expire.
China began to impose anti-dumping measures on the Russian cold-rolled silicon steel on Dec. 30, 1999. The anti-dumping measures will expire on Dec. 30, 2004.
The ministry said in an announcement that since there was no application for extension of the anti-dumping measures 60 days prior to the expiration date, the anti-dumping measures will end Thursday, according to Chinese law.
