Chinese movie-goers will be able to catch the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End on the big screen on June 15, just 21 days after its North American release.
The third Pirates of the Caribbean movie is set to be huge in China, with Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun-Fat in the cast. It's scheduled for general release in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore on May 24, one day earlier than in North America.
The film passed inspection in China after some of the scenes were altered slightly earlier this month. The premiere could not be set any earlier than June because Spider-Man 3 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are set to premiere in May.
