Jin Yaqin came out of retirement to make her first film, You and Me, and won the Best Actress Award.

During her theatrical career, Jin acted in the Beijing People's Art Theater and played several supporting roles in sitcom TV series like I Love My Family.

In You and Me, Jin plays the role of an elderly lady living in a traditional Chinese courtyard house who becomes friendly with a young girl. "After I read the script, I couldn't fall asleep because I was so moved by the story," said Jin.

As a veteran theatrical actress, Jin said modestly: "Although I'm very old, I'm not famous and I need to learn from the young film stars."
