A Chinese Odyssey Completed

The final installment of the film A Chinese Odyssey, titled "Qing Tian Da Sheng", held a closing ceremony in Beijing Thursday to celebrate its official wrap-up.

Director Jeff Lau, or Liu Zhenwei in mandarin, actors Nicholas Tse and Charlene Choi attended the special ceremony.

Jeff Lau put a lot of energy into making the final part of the romantic tale between Longevity Monk and an evil spirit.

The film came at a cost of over 100 million Hong Kong dollars and was shot in the well known nature reserve "Shen Nongjia" in Hubei Province. It is expected to be released sometime next year.
