A series of events, including concerts, singing contests and exhibitions, have been organized in the country since April 18 to mark the great holiday for the whole human race.
During the War, Mongolia provided the Soviet Union, which fought 80 percent of the Nazi German forces in the main anti-fascist war theater in Europe, with a great deal of assistance and support.
A tank column and a flight escadrille from the country joined their Russian comrades in defeating their ferocious enemies.
