Avian influenza has been entered into this category of disease species. The Ministry of Agriculture has classified HPAI in the list of disease species for Class One animal epidemics in China. The state stipulates that susceptible poultry in the area threatened by HPAI should be given emergency compulsory immunization through vaccination.
