Saudi Arabia Urges Immediate End of War on Iraq
The Saudi cabinet under King Fahd Bin Abdel Aziz on Monday called for an immediate end of war on Iraq, the Saudi press agency said.

The Iraqi crisis must be settled through collective efforts within international legitimacy, the report quoted Information Minister Fuad Bin Abdel Salaam Al Farsi as saying.

The cabinet made the appeal after reviewing efforts by Riyadh to prevent the outbreak of war and to reach a peaceful solution, according to the minister.

Saudi Arabia will never take part in the war against Iraq, the minister vowed, reiterating the kingdom is against military occupation and sides with international legitimacy.

The minister also called for respect of Iraq's independence and territorial integrity.
