Friendly, in-depth exchanges between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the New Conservative Party (NCP) of Japan contribute greatly to healthy and stable China-Japan relations, said a senior official from the CPC in Beijing Thursday.
Dai Bingguo, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks when holding talks with a Japanese delegation from the NCP, which had Kaifu Toshiki as its adviser and Noda Takeshi as its head.
Kaifu Toshiki, the former Japanese prime minister, and Noda Takeshi, the NCP head, said healthy and stable Japanese-Sino relations are not only in the interest of the two countries and the two peoples, but also are important for the peace and prosperity of Asia and the world at large.
The members of the Japanese delegation began their China tour on Thursday at the invitation of the CPC.
