The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries jointly hosted a high-level seminar with the state of Oregon of the United States yesterday to facilitate the sustainable development of Chinese cities. The China-US Metropolis Green Environment Seminar attracted over 100 officials and experts from both countries. At the event, Oregon Governor Theodore Kulongoski shared his state's experiences and practices in environmental conservation. Oregon's environment has long been considered one of the best protected in the world.
