A Chinese alligator has been hatched out artificially on September 15 in the Chongqing Alligator Center. On July 2nd this year, a female Chinese alligator in the center laid 47 eggs and covered them with earth for hatch. The staff members of the center put the eggs into an incubation box to guarantee a stable condition for the hatching. After two months of good care, the first baby alligator crawled out of its shell finally.
