Tibet Attracts Black-necked Crane

Of the millions of black-necked cranes in the world, nearly 8000 are bred in the cold wetland of this region every summer, and they spend the winters there.

The river valley now houses the world's biggest winter community of the rare species.

In 1993, Tibet autonomous region first set up a regional black-necked crane natural reserve, which has now been expanded.
