The "Happy Australia Tour" gala will hit the Sydney Entertainment Center on February 15, 2008, assembling together a variety of Chinese stars to please audiences with their Spring Festival greetings.

The gala, sponsored by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and hosted by China's Hunan TV and the Australian Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China, will present old and young pop idols on stage, including veteran singers Fei Yuqing, Wang Ming Chuen, Sun Yen Tzu as well as reality shows - "Super Girls" and "Happy Boys" - contest winners, such as Li Yuchun and Chen Chusheng.

The gala is expected to delight overseas Chinese and Chinese students by the wide range of popular stars and Chinese-flavored song and dance, including opera. This is also another attempt by Hunan TV, a prime one in Chinese TV production industry, to reach out to the world.
