British pop singer Shayne Ward created a storm when he sang for a packed audience Tuesday night at a music venue in Beijing.
Ward is touring China to promote his second album, "Breathless," which hit Chinese record stores on January 10, and grew to a Gold-selling record within one week.

While performing for the delirious fans at the Yugong Yishan club, Ward was given a certification on site for his Gold record.
The show followed Ward's brief stop in Shanghai where his presence stirred another group of fans.

It was Ward's second visit to Beijing. But like in 2006, his full schedule kept him away from enjoying the Chinese capital as a traveler. The 23-year-old told local newspapers that he was eager to take to the local streets and enjoy some Beijing snacks next time.
Shayne Ward rose to fame in 2005 after taking the champion at the British singing talent show, The X Factor.
