"Doraemon," the famous Japanese cartoon series, will bring another of its movie editions to China in 2008, after its first hit "Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur," bagged 23 million yuan (316,000 US dollars) at the Chinese box office last summer.
The second movie, "Doraemon: The Magic 2007," formally known as "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld," will be screened for Chinese audiences on January 22, 2008, the Beijing Morning Post reported.
The classic cartoon, a similar equivalent of Mickey Mouse in the United States, will be featured in one movie annually, which will be screened in Japan every March before it tours the world.
