Hong Kong musician Anthony Wong Yiu Ming's Shanghai concert was held on Christmas Eve. The concert, named by the singer as "Sea of People," was less a sea of people and more of a party for old friends.
Wong, who has been an entertainer for two decades, sang for his fans on the mainland for the first time in a solo setting.
Naming his concert after his own music production company, the forty-five-year-old singer, songwriter and producer promised in a promotion in November that the show would be a big Christmas party for his fans to have some fun.
On Christmas Eve, Wong's fans, although not enough to fill the 8,500-seat Shanghai Grand Stage, chilled out with live music from Wong.
Veteran songwriter Lin Xi, who has written several hits for Wong, was also among the audience.
