Super Girl Zhou Bichang releases twin albums
Adjust font size:

Super Girl contestant-turned-star Zhou Bichang swept through Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing on Thursday on a promotional tour for her two new albums.

Zhou Bichang sings at the release conference for her new albums in Beijing on Thursday, December 20, 2007.

The twin albums are named "Now" and "Wow". "Now" features Zhou's symbolic R&B style and "Wow" is her first foray into some new musical genres.

"The two albums together express the whole me," the singer said at her Beijing release conference.

"When I studied in the US, I listened to different music styles and was touched. I wanted to try those different things myself," Zhou said. "I hope those who listen to this album will say, 'Wow! She can also sing this!'"

Zhou burst on the music scene as the runner-up at the Super Girl singing contest in 2005. Her debut album, "Who Touched My String", was released in August 2006 and the singer then flew to the US earlier this year to study at a music college for three months.
