Hong Kong actor Louis Koo (R) and an official from The United Nations Children's Fund hang Christmas cards onto a Christmas tree at a celebration on Wednesday, December 19, 2007.

Hong Kong actor Louis Koo showed up at the celebration for the release of his new book "Wanju Dazhan" or "Toy War" on Wednesday and announced to donate the revenue from the book sale to The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), reported the Hong Kong based publication Tungstar.

The actor was also named an ambassador to the organization at the celebration held at the Hong Kong Time Square.

It took him more than two years to finish the book, which tells the story of Louis Koo's visits to several renowned cartoonists in France, Japan and the United States.

The book will be published in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Chinese mainland.
