In 1981, a TV drama about martial arts legend Huo Yuanjia took China by storm, and now, a remake is creating its own waves.

Hong Kong actor Ekin Cheng, who plays Huo Yuanjia is the new drama, and Jordan Chan, starring as Huo's student Chen Zhen, were in Beijing on Monday to promote their new work.

The drama is slated to begin airing on Beijing Television on December 20. It topped audience ratings earlier this year in southern Guangdong Province.

Huo Yuanjia's story has also been depicted in the 2006 film, "Fearless," starring Jet Li.
