Taiwan pop star Angela Zhang attended a ceremony to celebrate her commencement of tap dancing under Taiwan tap dance master Rex Peng Chengyou on Wednesday.

Hong Kong-based Tungstar reported that Angela fell in love with the art when she tried tap dancing for her previous album.

The singer disclosed at the ceremony that she planned to stage a stunning tap dancing show for her fifth album "ANG 5.0", which is to be released in early December.

"My body isn't soft enough to learn Pilates or Yoga. They are too hard for me. But I can easily follow the rhythm of tap dancing and I can even practice while watching TV," Angela said.

To encourage his new student, Rex presented a pair of tap shoes, specially ordered from Japan, to Angela as a gift.

"Her dances are very dynamical, they are as splendid as her songs," Rex said, comparing Angela's work to "singing with your feet".
