Because of a lingering flu, Cantopop king Jacky Cheung canceled a Sunday show at the Hong Kong Coliseum 15 minutes before it was due to start.
Most of his 10,000 fans assembled showed their understanding.
The singer, currently on a world tour, originally planned to sing 18 nights at the venue for his hometown audience. Sunday's show was the last but one.
The show's organizer was quoted by the local Wen Wei Po newspaper as saying Jacky Cheung tried to make the stage with a sore throat, but eventually gave up.
The last show on Monday night will be held as scheduled, she added.
A refund of canceled tickets is yet to be worked out.
