Although the post-production work on pop singer Jay Chou's directorial debut, Secret, is yet to be finished, the themed song of the film has been scheduled for release in Asia on Thursday, the Beijing News reported on Wednesday.

Chou's long-time partner Vincent Fang took charge of the lyrics for the song, which has been described by Chou as "a shinning point" of the film.

According to Chou, this time he tried to emulate Britpop in composing the song - quite a different approach from his other film music hits, such as Ju Hua Tai, the theme song of Curse of the Golden Flower and another song he made for Jet Li's kungfu film Huo Yuanjia.
