People in France can enjoy the elegance and delicacy of Chinese porcelain from next week at an exhibition of the ancient craft works.
An exhibition of 60 ancient porcelain wares from Jingdezhen, dubbed "capital of china", will be staged in Paris as part of the Chinese Culture Year in France, said cultural authorities of the city in east China's Jiangxi Province.
The 60 items feature porcelain varieties of Chinese dynasties of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing.
It is the first time for ancient porcelain wares from Jingdezhen to be exhibited on the European continent.
Jingdezhen began to witness the flourishing of the porcelain industry in the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and the ancient town is marking its millennium anniversary.
