Hong Kong people will have the opportunity to see for themselves the four glazed pots, which were discovered in Mongkok Friday, at the Lobby of Hong Kong Museum of History, a spokesman for the Hong Kong Antiquities and Monuments Office said Saturday.
The exhibition will start from Sunday to May 31, and no admission fee is required.
The four flat-bottomed pots were unearthed from a drainage improvement work site at the junction of Tung Choi Street and Soy Street in Mongkok.
"The four ancient pots found are in a complete condition. A preliminary examination suggests that they were burial artifacts of Jin Dynasty (265 - 420)," the spokesman said.
"It is rare that ancient artifacts of such good conditions were unearthed in an urban area in Hong Kong," said the spokesman.
