Lo Tayu Hong Kong Tour Ends

After a long time spent away from his Hong Kong fans, Taiwan's Godfather Of Music returned to perform two concerts on March 12 and 13 at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

The shows were named Lo Tayu On New Things Concert. According to the singer/song writer, his concerts are intended to lighten the hearts of his fans after they suffered the loss of two Hong Kong stars last year, namely Leslie Chang and Annita Mui.

The song The East Of Queen's Boulevard signaled the close of Lo Tayu On New Things Concert. Lo Tayu put everything he had into the tune. The performance was made more memorable when he was joined on stage by his old friend, Taiwan pop singer Wubai.

In memory of the late Hong Kong singer and actress Annita Mui, Lo had arranged to perform a special song, "Seeing the One I Knew", dedicated to her memory. Lo composed the song for Mui many years ago.

Musician Lo Tayu said, "Annita is the personified reflection of Hong Kong's history of development. She's the spirit of the developing Hong Kong."

The capacity crowd's emotions were taken on a roller-coater ride during the concert, reaching a climax during the duet by the two famous performers.

He explained, "My audiences are generally those above 30 years of age, who are mostly from the intellectual circle. That's why there's nobody whistling or waving glowing sticks."

During the celebration banquet after the concert, Taiwan's famous actress Brigitte Lin showed up to congratulate Lo. Singing familiar songs with help and best wishes from old friends, Lo Tayu should feel content and happy with his Hong Kong concerts.
