The fourth CCTV Host Contest ended last month, and now viewers will be able to see who the new faces are. In the coming week, CCTV-1 will broadcast the finals and closing ceremony during prime time.

This year's contest drew more than 1000 contestants. Only 30 passed the qualification test and oral quiz. Which then lead to internships at CCTV 9. There, they did their own short programs, which the judges critiqued and rated. Some experts and veteran hosts, including Bai Qiancheng, Huang Huilin and Zhao Zhongxiang, are on the panel. The finalists will not only have to answer to the 15 judges, but also to the viewers, who can submit questions via the hotline.
