The show Iron Beats from Las Vegas is expected to stand out among all the classic and contemporary ballet productions scheduled for the month-long Beijing International Dance Festival. The explosive show is coming to the Beijing Exhibition Hall Theatre January 13-16.
By combining the percussive and rhythmic styles of modern tap, funk, stomp and Argentine gaucho dancing, producer Wally Eastwood has introduced to the theatre a fresh show that will leave audiences breathless with unexpected moments and keep them on the edge of their seats.
"Eastwood, the famous entertainer in Las Vegas, has taken a variety of music and dance genres and incorporated them into a work coming to you full force," comments critic Ou Jianping who once saw the show in Las Vegas.
The show stars popular dancers from Las Vegas including Mario Ferreira, Joshua Allan, Loulia Koryagina, Hilario Cabral, Marcos Atilio Fuks, Jenny Romas and singer Rodney Munming.
The Portuguese Ferreira is popular in Las Vegas for his unique and amazing juggling skills and natural comedic talent.
The award-winning tap dancer Joshua Allan is a member of the famous company Tap Dogs. And Hilario Cabral from the land of Pampas has performed the gaucho dance worldwide for more than 15 years.
