The first Sino-German college in China has officially opened to Chinese students.
The college is jointly sponsored by Germany's Essen School of Economics and Management and two Chinese universities, including Shanxi University of Economics and Finance.
The college campus, located in an university town some 70 kilometers southeast of Beijing, will provide students a typical foreign environment with German faculty members.
Subjects include management, trade, finance and accounting.
During the four-year undergraduate course, students will spend their last year in Germany, preparing graduation papers and doing internship.
Upon graduation, they will be conferred both Chinese and German bachelor degrees.
