Chinese Film Festival opened at the Naypyidaw (Capital) Cinema in Yangon, Myanmar Wednesday to mark the upcoming 54th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, which is falling on October 1.
Under the cultural exchange program between China and Myanmar, the six-day film festival is jointly sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and the Myanmar Ministry of Information.
At the opening ceremony, a film titled Gua Sha (The Treatment) was screened.
During the film festival, other five Chinese films will also be screened.
