Symphony Orchestra Revives Beijing's SARS-hit Concert Schedule
The China Philharmonic Symphony played under the baton of artistic director Yu Long at the Forbidden City Concert Hall on Sunday.

Classical music fans in Beijing have been able to attend the first concert since the outbreak of SARS.

The China Philharmonic Symphony played under the baton of artistic director Yu Long at the Forbidden City Concert Hall on Sunday.

The concert featured German Composer Ludwig van Beethoven 's Symphony No.7 in A Major" and "Violin Concerto in D Major".

The orchestra will play three more concerts in its "Immortal Beethoven" series, which wraps up on the 14th of July.

Originally scheduled for April, the concerts had to be postponed because of SARS.
