Gangster films are hot in Hong Kong now.
A Hong Kong version of the classic Hollywood movie "Godfather" is expected to start shooting soon. Famous gangster film director Du Qifeng will make the film.
Sources say the film will have three episodes, telling the story of how a gang family got rich and ruled the crime scene of the city in the ensuing years. The movie may star Hong Kong artist Andy Lau.
Meanwhile, two other gangster films are to be shown in Hong Kong soon, "The Internal Affairs two" and "Color of the truth."
