French pianist Richard Clayderman's new album is to contain some Chinese folk tunes.
Clayderman, who is very popular in China, visited various parts of the country to collect original folk tunes, which are melted into the pieces on the album with the piano together with other Chinese and Western instruments.
A folk tune from southwest China's Dong ethnic group is mixed with the piano, the pipa and the erhu.
China's Broadcast Folk Music Troupe cooperated with Clayderman, adding a touch of authenticity to the album.
