A book on late Chinese veteran leader Chen Yun's relationship with the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection was recently published to mark the centenary of Chen's birth.
Wu Guanzheng, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, wrote the preface for the book.
Chen Yun served as first secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection for nine years since late 1978. He was credited with lots of meritorious, trail-blazing work and theories in the sphere of discipline inspection of the Party.
The book, published by the China Fangzheng Press, contains a large number of pictures, manuscripts and other valuable materials about Chen's outstanding performance and deeds during the nine years.
