A Chinese visiting art troupe staged its first performance Tuesday evening in Yangon to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Myanmar.
The 25-member Art Troupe of Heilongjiang Province arrived here last Saturday for the performance, which is part of activities of the China Culture Month.
Tonight's performance at the National Theater presented programs of dances, tenor, soprano, duetto and acrobatics, winning a wave of applause by the audiences.
Since last Thursday, a week-long Chinese photos and paintings exhibition titled " Rediscover China" at the National Museum and a Chinese Films Week at the Naypyidaw Cinema have been held also as part of the China Culture Month activities.
Moreover, visiting men volley team of Sichuan Province of China also played the first friendly match out of three with the Myanmar national team here on Tuesday afternoon as part of the activities.
