The American TV series Friends has been so popular in China that a Chinese version of it will soon start screening.

The Chinese version will most probably be directed by a western director to make the TV series a success.

Although it will take in some elements from the American version, the producer guarantees that the Chinese version will be original and will make you laugh throughout its entirety.

The main characters will also be six, which include three men and three white-collar women living under the same roof. Among them, there will be a twin brother and sister, and two lovers.

The script of the Chinese version of Friends is already completed. The screenwriters are a group of young Chinese ardent fans of the American Friends. They quitted their jobs and spent two and a half years to complete the script, which is made up of 40 series.
