Exhibition Paris Reflections: Photographs co-organized by the Center Pompidou will be held in Hong Kong from May 11, announced the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services on Tuesday.
Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Center Pompidou of France, the exhibition is part of the programs of "The Year of France in China" and "Le French May."
More than 160 black-and-white photographs, taken in seven decades from the 1920s to the 1990s by 32 photographers, were selected from the Center Pompidou and will go on display in the Hong Kong Museum of History till May 30.
According to the curator of Center Pompidou Alain Sayag, the exhibition shows the city's grandeur as a modern cosmopolitan city as well as its uniqueness as a European city of a gentler era.
The festival will also offer a series of other activities such as paintings and photography exhibitions.
