The China Pudong College of Cadres and the British Council signed a pact in Shanghai Tuesday to promote mutual exchange.
According to the agreement, the British Council will send senior scholars, visiting lecturers and students and the college will have chance to visit Britain.
"The college would like to develop cooperation with famous educational and training organizations in the world," said Wang Anshun, deputy secretary of the Shanghai Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC) and vice dean of the college.
The China Pudong College of Cadres, located in the Pudong New District of Shanghai, was founded with the approval of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.
He Guoqiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, is the dean of the college.
