China will send 5,000 young teachers overseas every year, for further study to enhance their teaching quality.
These teachers will be selected nationwide. They will have an opportunity to study at international universities to obtain the doctorate degrees or to engage in scientific research.
Education Minister Zhou Ji announced details of the project on Sunday in Wuhai city in central China.
The project is sponsored by the China Scholarship Council. Fifty universities in China are involving in the projects.
