A week-long exhibition of Chinese handicrafts to mark the "Golden Jubilee Year" of establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China concluded here Sunday.
Chinese handicrafts of 61 types were on display at Siddhartha Art Gallery here during the exhibition jointly organized by World Cultural Net of Nepal and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
Hundreds of people, including foreign tourists, have visited this exhibition, a guide of the art gallery told Xinhua.
The handicrafts showcased at the exhibition on Dec. 5-12 include opera masks, kites, lacquer ware, silk, embroidery as well as jade, ivory and wood carvings.
"All of the visitors were deeply impressed by the Chinese art, which is renowned worldwide as a result of its uniqueness," the guide added.
The Nepali and Chinese governments will organized different events in both countries to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two neighbors in May next year.
