Chinese Artists to Perform at 'Italian Opera Week' in Beijing

A group of China's best musicians will perform three of the most popular Italian operas at Beijing's Tianqiao Theater and the Concert Hall of the National Library from November 26th to the middle of December.

The Italian classics -- Cavalleria Rusticana, the Barber of Seville and Pagliacci will be sung in Chinese for the first time.

The program is co-sponsored by China's Central Opera Theater and the Italian Embassy in China.

The lowest ticket price is 50 yuan.
