Known as "Salt City, Dinosaur's Hometown and Lantern Land", Zigong, the beautiful cultural city in Sichuan, is to sponsor the 7th International Dinosaur Lantern Festival in the coming Spring Festival. All preparations are in order currently.

With "West Development" as the theme, the festival is the ever-largest one in Zigong. Compared with others, the scale is larger this time with more elegant lanterns.

There are 69 new lantern works representing typical historical legends, beautiful scenes, custom, folk tales and the new appearance of 12 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in west China.

In addition, red lanterns will be put on in the whole city to welcome the first spring festival of the new century.
