China to Allot More for Better Aviation Safety

China plans to allocate a total of 800 million yuan (96.4 million US dollars) in beefing up civil aviation security from August.

Redesigning aircraft cabins, on-board anti-crash systems, and cargo security inspection systems will each use 200 million yuan (24 million US dollars) and other safety equipment will cost 200 million yuan, according to the Ministry of Finance and the GeneralAdministration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC).
