For cab drivers or private bus owners, to have Kentukey Fast Chain food is always offlimits because it's hard to find a parking lot near these stores. KFC stores are always located at crowed shopping centers.
To solve the problem, KFC said yesterday that it will introduce a special canteen designed for automobile drivers to Shanghai residents in the later half of the year.
The drivers will drive their car while buying their KFC chickens. They pay money by stretching their hand and cash out of the car window(like paying bridge toll), and get hot hamburgers right away also through the car window. After the purchase, drivers can go on in their car to some parking place and enjoy his dinner with no rush or worry at all.
Public Affairs Division of KFC says it is combing the ideal sites for the new store now, hoping to locate the new store in a place not far away from the downtown area, but plenty of auto flow.
In China, only one such store has been opened in the capital Beijing. But in the western countries, such stores are common. In many fast food chain stores, there are special windows and car-lanes reserved for car drivers. The service window is not independent of the store, but part of it. If the drivers can find a parking place, he can also choose to sit in the store for his hamburger.
