Air France will add two flights from Shanghai to Paris to its existing three in their summer and autumn schedule this year, sources with Air France's Chinese headquarters said in Shanghai Thursday.
With the two code-sharing flights already being operated by China Eastern Airlines Co. Ltd., Air France will have a flight each day from Shanghai to Paris.
Flights will leave from Pudong Airport at 11:10 or 10:30 each morning, so that passengers can transfer to other flights from the Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and reach 82 European destinations within from 45 minutes to two hours.
The flights will employ Boeing 777 aircraft, which provide good facilities and an excellent traveling environment for passengers.
As 60 percent of the passengers on Air France's flights to China are Chinese, the 50-year-old company has introduced services to cater especially to Chinese passengers, which so far this year has made 52 percent of passengers "very satisfied" with Air France compared with 34 percent in 1999.
