As is learned from the China National Tourism Administration, China has reached agreements with Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Brunei. Under these agreements, as of June 10, Chinese citizens may, by joining the outbound touring groups organized by a travel service, tour the above-mentioned four countries with official visas instead of the former "border cards". In addition, the said touring groups are also permitted to pass by Hong Kong and Macao.
As reported, China Travel Service and China Southern Airlines, working in cooperation with each other, are ready to organize a group to Vietnam and Cambodia for an eight-day trip.
So far, Chinese citizens can travel to 14 countries in the form of outbound touring groups.
