The 6th "China Beijing International High-tech Expo" is to be held next month in the capital city. At the event, the Beijing Municipal People's Government will unveil a promotion of its major urban development projects. It's estimated that over 300 Chinese and overseas investors will attend the promotion meeting.
At a press conference Friday, officials announced that 325 projects worth US$16 billion are expected to attract Chinese and foreign investment. These projects include infrastructure facilities, high-tech industries, real estate exploration, commercial tourism, agriculture and landscaping.
So far, Beijing's No.4 and No.10 subway lines are the two major infrastructure projects which have drawn the most attention from investors and the public.
