Internet Security Handbook that gives a concise overview of the security issues involved with getting connected to the Internet is now available in Hong Kong.
Published by the Cyberspace Center of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Center (HKCERT/CC), the handbook aims to provide local companies, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises with a useful reference and guidance on Internet security protection.
The handbook has incorporated the latest changes in information security technologies, products and standards, and the list of references relating to Internet Security. Hacking and server hardening has also been updated.
The Internet Security Handbook is part of a project of the HKCERT/CC sponsored by the Innovation and Technology Fund of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government. It is important that companies have a good understanding of Internet security, to properly protect their valuable information assets from cyber attacks, according to the publisher.
