The first year college student became the eventual champion out of 32 finalists at the China conference final on Monday.

She will represent China at the 2004 Miss International Tourism contest, to be held in East China's city of Hangzhou at the end of April.

Miss International Tourism Pageant is one of the most important events in tourism and fashion circles.
